How to plant and care

Sedums do not require much care or attention. They will grow normally like other plants in suitable conditions. But they will grow quickly in harsher areas. You can plant them in places with too much sun or places with little water without fear of killing the plant.

The plant has poor frost resistance so it will be more difficult to grow in winter. Sedum multiceps prefer places with lots of sun and ventilation, if the sun is too strong, you must use a net to cover it, otherwise it will get sunburned.

  • Soil: Loose, well-drained soil.
  • Repotting: Only repot when roots have passed through the drainage hole.
  • Watering: Plants can rot if watered frequently, check moisture by touching with dry hands. Limit watering when the soil around the roots is not dry.
  • Propagation: Sedum is very easy to propagate. For Sedum multiceps, simply cut a cutting and place it in moist soil where you want to plant it, it will root when the stem touches the soil. If you want to be sure that the plant will root there, you can cover the plant with a thin layer of soil.
