Premixed succulent soil is specially designed for succulents and cacti. Ingredients include: 40% Rice husk ash mixture (rice husk ash, coconut fiber, cow dung, rice husk): 40% pumice stone: 20% perlite stone Origin: Vietnam Advantages of the garden’s succulent soil: – The soil is mixed in a specific ratio, based on 10 years of experience growing succulents in hot areas like Ho Chi Minh City. The garden has tested and found the most suitable soil ratio for succulents in hot climates. – The soil is loose and well-drained. – Succulent soil is rich in nutrients to help the plant grow well. – Succulent soil can be preserved for a long time when kept dry. CHANGING THE POT FOR SUCCULENTS WHEN YOU JUST PURCHASE When you buy succulents, they are usually stored in a plastic bag as shown in the picture. You proceed with the following steps: 1. Remove the old soil First, you take the plant out of the plastic bag, use your hand to gently squeeze the soil ball to let all the old soil fall out. In this step, you should be careful to do it gently to avoid damaging the roots. In addition, there is a small tip in the garden that you let the soil in the bag dry completely so that when you squeeze the soil, it will fall out more easily. 2. Choose a pot The most suitable type of pot for succulents in my experience is a terracotta pot. The advantage of a terracotta pot is that water can be absorbed through the surface, helping the soil dry faster, limiting waterlogging in succulents. In addition, the size of the pot is also something to note, you should choose a pot that is the right size for the plant, not too big and the bottom is not too high. For small plants, everyone should use a pot with a diameter of 7 or 9cm. The mistake I see you often make is choosing a large pot so you don’t have to replace it later. 3. Plant the plant in the pot When planting succulents in a pot, you should be careful to fill the soil gently, not compact it. After planting the tree in the pot, leave the tree in a cool place, avoid direct sunlight and do not water the tree for 2 days. After that, you can take care of the tree normally. #senda #senda #dattrongsenda #dantrônggôngnghan
